The board of directors of the Tug McGraw Foundation and I were saddened to learn about the falsified story of Jake Severino's alleged battle with a deadly brain tumor. Like many of those involved, the Tug McGraw Foundation has questions regarding his deception. What is most unfortunate is that his story has taken time and attention away from those patients and their families who are legitimately affected by brain tumors. For those children and adults engaged in fighting this tough disease, know that the Tug McGraw Foundation stands behind you and will continue to support efforts to improve the quality of life of brain tumor patients and their families.
