Current Scholars

While Tug McGraw’s signature “screwball”pitch will never be thrown again, his legacy continues to hit home runs, thanks to the two-year-old Tug McGraw Foundation.

For the second consecutive year, the Foundation has joined with Sprint PCS Affiliate UbiquiTel to award thirty-six scholarships of $1000 to qualifying college students across the country that embody Tug’s “Ya Gotta Believe” positive attitude. These awards will be used to defray tuition costs for each of the winners.
